MERRY CHRISTMAS
&
HAPPY NEW YEAR
From our house to yours

I can’t wait to be able to post what I have been working so hard on for the past 2 ½ months.  Because they are Christmas gifts to all my family and they come to my blog, I can’t post anything YET.

I wish all my family and friends a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful and safe New Year.

Thanksgiving Time!

Here are the newest treats that I made for the grandkids to take to their classmates.  The pumpkins will hold a small treat for everyone.  These are the perfect size for a single Reese cup, snack size M&M's or about any small candy bar.

The cut file was made by me.  As soon as I finally get my website up and running this will be a cut file that will be for sale.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello, Welcome to the Halloween Party Blog Hop
We are so glad that you have decided to hop along with us.
Throughout our hop we hope to inspire you with lots of ideas for hosting
your own Halloween Party.
There will be some great blog candy along the way as well as a
GRAND PRIZE GIVEAWAY of $100.00 in cash (which is a big
chunk of change to buy goodies for a Halloween Party)

If you just happened upon my blog and would like to start at the beginning please hop on over to:
If you have been following the blog hop and have hopped over from
Then you are right where you need to be.
Here is my project:

The file I chose to use from Little Scraps of Heaven is called Haunted Graveyard Pattern Collection. I've used the ghosts to decorate the coffins and the bats for in the bouquet.
My wonderful husband spray painted some twigs for my beautiful bouquet. Wire is attached to the center twig so the bats can fly high above the coffins. Each coffin is lined with red and filled with gummy worms. This setup would work great for a Halloween party so all the kids would have a treat to take home.
The coffins will go to my grandchildren's classrooms for their Halloween treats. The vase and bats will adorn my table throughout Halloween.
I am offering blog candy (if you have chocolate allergies, please let me know because my blog candy will be candy!) to the participant that hops to all the blogs and leaves some love. After you have done that, please come back to my blog and let me know. If you like what you see, I would also appreciate it if you would become a follower.  I will pick a winner on Sunday, Oct. 23rd so please let me know how to get in contact with you!

Welcome to the 50 States Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the 50 States Blog Hop! Most of us would love to travel but are having staycations this year. What better way to travel but through a blog hop. This hop was inspired by our host Shawnee's journey across the United States as she traveled with her family to their new home. The United States is truly beautiful with many wonderful places to visit and see.

If you've hopped along from DELAWARE or you are just joining me from your dashboard or happened along from somewhere else, please be sure to CLICK HERE to start with the first state in the union, Delaware, because you won't want to miss out on any of the fun (or any of the blog candy!!)...

There is an AMAZING Grand Prize Package for one LUCKY hopper (winner chosen by Rafflecopter)!!  To be entered to win, please do the following:
So what's the Grand Prize???
Cricut Cartridge - Destinations, beautiful handmade flowers from Shannon at Creative Chaos Flowers, and a $20 Gift Certificate to Scraptastical Kreations.
Now on to my state and my project....please pardon the photo job, for some reason my camera was NOT cooperating with me to get these pictures!!

It's very difficult to fit all the wonderful things to see and do in Pennsylvania all into one project.  I tried to highlight some of the things I've done just recently.  The countryside is starting to change colors (unfortunately) to it's beautiful golds, reds and oranges and with it will come cooler weather.  That means sled riding, skiing and snowball battles are fast approaching.

For this project, I used everything from my stash.  The paper is all core'dinations (my fav) to create the single and double layer photo mats.  The letters are cut using SCAL2 using font ARIAL BLACK.  Where would I be without all my fonts??  To get my letters to be straight, I used the scrap piece the letters were cut from to line them up.

Now for the good stuff, BLOG CANDY.  I'm offering up a SURPRISE grab bag that's sure to help in your scrapbooking endeavors!!  To be eligible, please leave a comment on all 50 states to everyone know you've been there and if you like what you see on my blog, please become a follower!  The winner will be picked randomly on Sunday, Sept 18th and announced on my blog.

Now you can hop to the NEXT STATE IN THE UNION, New Jersey with Nancy!!  Remember to leave a comment on each state to be eligible for the GRAND PRIZE!!

Welcome to the Bucket List Birthday Blog Hop! It's going to be a lot of fun. Everyone is going to be showcasing items from their bucket lists and we will be wishing happy birthday to a number of August babies (including Michelle Hull, who is the host of this hop!).
If you arrived here from Lisa’s page, you are on the right track.  If you would like to start from the beginning and hop along with us, please go to MichelleHull’s page (our host).
Please remember to say Happy Birthday to the birthday people along the way & Happy Anniversary to Gill & Jim.
My project to showcase my bucket list was to make a place for my bucket list.  This list has been written for many years and then I misplaced it.  After 2 moves and a few years, I found it again.  It was amazing to remember what I had written and that I had already started accomplishing some of the items.  Needless to say, the list is misplaced again but when I find it, it will be placed in my frame and on the wall in my scrap room.

My supplies used were:
Everything from my personal stash....some was no longer in the packaging so I'm unsure of the maker.
The frame is from my attic
Tornal Adornament fibers
Gold Beading bought at JoAnn's
Lace around the frame bought at Joann's
Recollections Boutique Fleur swirls
Prima Flowers (my favorite)
Basic ribbon bought at Michael's
Butterflies were also bought at Michael's back in the floral department
The font is Script MT Bold (my personal favorite!) and was cut using SCAL2 on my computer

1. Please remember to leave a comment and
2. Click to follow my blog is you like what you see!

Have a fantastic day and enjoy all the projects from these wonderful people!

June 10-12 School's Out For Summer Blog Hop

Welcome to the School's Out For Summer Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from Nancy-http://blog.fancywithnancy.com/ you are on the right track.  For my School's Out item, I made a summer calendar of the things I want to get done this summer.  This TOP 10 "To Do" list is tacked to my wall above my desk.  I will insert pictures as I get the item done.  This will then go in a book as the beginning pages and more pictures of each event/project will be in the book also.
My challenge to you for the hop is to do the same and post your blog address here so we can go check it out.  It could be a place you want to go, things you want to get done, etc.  I'm not asking for it to be extravagant, just get those ideas on paper.  No pictures can be added since these are things that are not done yet.  Photo mats with tags above with the idea.

My BLOG CANDY will be a package that will help achieve one of your goals on your summer calendar. Since this is a week-end long hop, I will pick a winner on June 12th (I'll post the winner on Monday, June 13th). Just make sure you are a follower of my blog (post my blinkie on your blog if you like what you see) and leave a comment with your blog address and contact information. The winner will be picked randomly.   If my followers reach 150, a second BLOG CANDY package will be mailed as well.

Now to make sure you stay on track, hop on over to Anita-http://www.anitaandbugs.blogspot.com/ to continue on.........

Here's a line up to help you stay on track....

Have a fantastic weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Daria's Blanket

This is the blanket that I crocheted for Daria.  I made it to fit a full size bed.

One blanket down, one to go....Kyler would like his now.  It's almost finished though so hopefully I'll get it posted soon.

The yarn I used was Bernat Pipsqueak "Sittin' Pretty".  What an adventure this blanket turned out to be.  When Daria and I found the yarn, we were only going to make a lap blanket.  That soon changed to a blanket for on her bed.

We went back to JoAnn's to get more yarn, but found it was a special and wouldn't be replenished.  Thank heavens for the great service of my store....they found the yarn for me in another store.  I called the other store and was treated just as wonderful.  I got 7 more delivered to my door and was able to finish.

The trim is made from a yarn called "Angel Hair".  I don't have the wrapper any more to tell you the brand but I do know JoAnn's does still carry it.

This is the most beautiful yarn and so incredibly soft.....I highly recommend it.

Thanks!
Wendy

The cupcakes have been devoured!!

There were Daria's chocolate cupcakes that went to school for her birthday.  The icing is done cupcake war style.

They were very very yummy and pure sugar rush.

Jelly Bean filled carrots - my newest svg file.

Our carrots are all finished and off to school.  They were a huge success with the kids.  50 of them all stuffed with jelly beans using my own svg cut file.  I've been making several treat files....I think it might be becoming an addiction.  It sure is fun having kids that need treats for school though so I can continue to make them.

These were Cassidy and Jason's (25 each)

These were Kyler's (25)

These were the teacher treats

All of these treats were made by files I created and cut with SCAL2.  I also completed 7 double page layouts WITH pics for my niece and a project she had to do.  The pics are on my camera and not uploaded to the computer yet.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!
