I'm just not inspired lately

Not sure what happened but I go sit at my desk and NOTHING!! Not sure where my creativity went but for right now, it's gone. I go page surfing for inspiration and NOTHING.

I think I need a good dose of going through some adorable baby pics. I'm sure that would work....Hint Hint Mistie!!

Ok...off to bed, another night of nothing!!

Happy Thanksgiving

I have so many things that I'm thankful for. My family, my health, steady household income, a roof over our heads and plenty of food to eat. I have the best friends in the world in my sisters, I just couldn't imagine life without all of them. I've also made some fantastic friends on the circut messageboard that have made crafting and chatting so wonderful.

May everyone have a wonderful day and remember to take a minute to look at all the good things in your life and say THANK YOU!!

Anything goes extra layouts

Here is my anything goes theme. These were layouts left over from another swap. The ladies in our group decided we should swap out some of these too!

Fall, Thanksgiving, Winter & Christmas double layout swap on the Cricut Messageboard

I have stickled, glued, layered, paper pieced, cut with the cricut, used straw, used embellishments, sewed and did some cussing...but I think they turned out well.

Thanksgiving does not have it's picture yet, so it's not posted.

Please enjoy...they will be postal on Sat. Nov. 7th.

Chili, Chowder, Soup & Stews Recipe Swap for Cricut MB

Newest swap from the cricut messageboard.

Redneck mouse hunting!

I just had to share this pic. I was home sick today with a headache. I was headed out to the kitchen for a drink and some more meds and found this scene unfolding!

I'm sure my daughter is going to love it that I did. Sssshhhh, let's not tell her. There's a poor little mouse behind that birdhouse.

I've been playing

This is what happens when I spend too much time surfing the net looking for inspiration. I'm supposed to be working on a swap instead of playing and making my sister pages. I added the stitching...it's finally totally done.

Challenge #25 from Whimsical Scraps & Bugs

Here is project #25 for Whimsical Scraps & Bugs. We needed to use a song as inspiration. I'll Be is one of my husbands favorite songs and very fitting for us. We didn't have your traditional church wedding, we were married outside on a sunny day in bare feet. It was fantastic. These are some of the pics from that day.

They are all finally done

I've just finished all 13 Blog Hop Challenges and my Project #25 for Whimsical Scraps & Bugs. It was my first project with them. I will post is as soon as it has been posted to their site.

Everyone have a great evening. I'm going to bed!!

The Crafting Pot Blog Hop Challenge

Thank you to my sister for her help on this one!! I appreciate it Mistie! Here's OLD SCHOOL...we're talking no toys at all.

SPCC Blog Hop Challenge

I went to a crop last weekend and ran into an SU rep. I was able to get all 4 colors. Please enjoy!

Whimsical Scraps & Bugs Blog Hop Challenge

This one was fun!! I didn't use the gumballs, I used something I would eat since the treat bag is for me for finishing all my challenges on the blog hop!

Peachy Keen Blog Hop Challenge

I had some help from my daughter on this one. We combined 2 of the challenges into 1. This card uses the sketch from Peachy Keen and the image from the Sew Many Cards challenge. This was a fun one! Please enjoy.

Chirper Blog Hop Challenge

The theme was "SWEET" with glitter and stamping used. This is my granddaughter making cupcakes. One of her favorite things to do is cook. We've used stickles as the glitter and the little cupcake embellishment is stamped and colored with watercolor pencils. The paper is bazzill and AC Cardstock.

Practical Scrappers Blog Hop Challenge

This is my third Blog Hop Challenge. The Challenge was to create a project using die-cuts. I used the altered die-cuts from the previous challenge on the double page layout I created for a swap on the Cricut Messageboard.

Materials used: Doodletype for the letters, Happily Ever After for the pumpkins, George for the oval on the pumpkins, Home Accents for the corner swirls, SCAL for the crow and cat in the pumpkin (I need to get the website for this to give create to the designer, it is a purchased .svg file), paper pieced scarecrow from a coloring page I googled then hand cut and inked. The paper is by Prima, AC Cardstock, Chatterbox Inc, Recollections and a couple of other makers.

Here are my sunflowers and pumpkins in use.

Just Buggin Blog Hop Challenge

Here's #2 on the challenge list. This challenge was to take ANY die-cut and alter it. I have two. I have been working on a fall page for a swap and this challenge inspired me to get moving on the embellishments for it.

The first is a pumpkin cut from the Happily Ever After cartridge. To alter it, I also cut an oval, inked all the edges and placed the oval in the middle before I glued down the stem.

The second is a sunflower I created in SCAL by welding a spade and a rectangle together. All the little petals are made individually and inked. The 1" circle in the center is embossed with the swiss dots folder. Taadaaa, sunflower!!

Ok, off to the next challenge. I think I'll get these embellishments totally done so I can finish the layout totally because Practical Scrappers challenge is to use dies cuts.

Off I go......

Scrapfit Blog Hop Challenge

Here is my first completed challenge for the blog hop. My challenge to myself was to only use items I had on had for all the challenges (although shopping sounds like so much fun!!)

The challenge was to create a "Happy Fall" card.
The paper is by Recollections from the "Spice Market" pack. The leaves were punched, the ribbon is Sweet Petites and the embellishment is also by Recollections. Both pieces of green paper were embossed with cuttlebug folders (Swiss dots & D'Vine Swirl) These are all items I had in my stash. 1 down, 12 more to go...Hop hop hop!

Most Recent Projects

This is my version of "Little Miss Muffet" I made for a swap on the Cricut MB. We were doing Childrens Stories.

I also made Snow White, Mary Had a Little Lamb and There Was An Old Woman.

I still need to work on another Little Miss Muffet and Hansel & Gretel.

Can't wait to get these back.

I'll figure this out yet!

Good Morning everyone. I've been saying I want a blog so this morning I just started clicking buttons. I've got a lot to learn about this but I have some time off coming up and will try to customize it them.

I want to be able to share what I'm working on with friends and family. There are several blogs that I check frequently and I would love to be able to share them with my friends.

Thanks for stopping by
Wendy
