Scrap sketch Blog Hop Challenge

Boy does using a sketch work out nicely. This layout is made to coordinate with the All About Me Challenge. The journaling is not done because this layout is going to my sister and her very adorable baby. She will be adding the journaling.

Practical Scrappers Blog Hop Challenge

This is my third Blog Hop Challenge. The Challenge was to create a project using die-cuts. I used the altered die-cuts from the previous challenge on the double page layout I created for a swap on the Cricut Messageboard.

Materials used: Doodletype for the letters, Happily Ever After for the pumpkins, George for the oval on the pumpkins, Home Accents for the corner swirls, SCAL for the crow and cat in the pumpkin (I need to get the website for this to give create to the designer, it is a purchased .svg file), paper pieced scarecrow from a coloring page I googled then hand cut and inked. The paper is by Prima, AC Cardstock, Chatterbox Inc, Recollections and a couple of other makers.

Here are my sunflowers and pumpkins in use.

Just Buggin Blog Hop Challenge

Here's #2 on the challenge list. This challenge was to take ANY die-cut and alter it. I have two. I have been working on a fall page for a swap and this challenge inspired me to get moving on the embellishments for it.

The first is a pumpkin cut from the Happily Ever After cartridge. To alter it, I also cut an oval, inked all the edges and placed the oval in the middle before I glued down the stem.

The second is a sunflower I created in SCAL by welding a spade and a rectangle together. All the little petals are made individually and inked. The 1" circle in the center is embossed with the swiss dots folder. Taadaaa, sunflower!!

Ok, off to the next challenge. I think I'll get these embellishments totally done so I can finish the layout totally because Practical Scrappers challenge is to use dies cuts.

Off I go......

Scrapfit Blog Hop Challenge

Here is my first completed challenge for the blog hop. My challenge to myself was to only use items I had on had for all the challenges (although shopping sounds like so much fun!!)

The challenge was to create a "Happy Fall" card.
The paper is by Recollections from the "Spice Market" pack. The leaves were punched, the ribbon is Sweet Petites and the embellishment is also by Recollections. Both pieces of green paper were embossed with cuttlebug folders (Swiss dots & D'Vine Swirl) These are all items I had in my stash. 1 down, 12 more to go...Hop hop hop!
